Hello,

I am Marina Vilalta and I would like to present my blog where we will learn multiplication together.

We will work for one week together and I hope that you will like the exercices I have prepared for you.

As I said in the classroom, we will follow the methodology called "Flipped Classroom" and in this blog you will find videos and activities that you have to watch and do in each class.

But before starting, do you remember What is Flipped Classroom?

"This is not what I imagined when they said "flipped Classroom'!"

Flipped Classroom is a new methodology of teaching where students are introduced to content at home (watching short videos), and then they practice it at school.  

So HOW we will do it?

At home

We will sit in our room  watching a video of the lesson that we will practice in the class of math. We can watch the video as many times as we need, we can write down some notes to understand better and then we will do a few activities to practice this knowlage that we have learnt through the videos. Moreover, if you have some questions, you can leave a comment below the content.

At school

We will use the first minutes to review what we have learnt at home and answear some questions. Then we will practise the content by individual and group activities. I will be there helping you all the time so you can ask for help when you need it

Lesson 1

Multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000

In this session, we will learn how to multiplicate the numbers by 10, 100 and 1000.

Here I have prepared for you a video with which we will work today. I suggest that you watch the video as many times as you need and try to write down the most important information which you can use while doing the exercises.

In this session we will learn how to use the factors to multiplicate and we will practice mental multiplication.
